hi !! my name is callie, short for camilla. you might know me online as callicoeidoscope, which is my stage name for my musical work, as well as being part of a band called none of us are named joe. i write books, make music, and draw things, mostly by myself, and never with AI. i'm a work-in-progress, just like this website!! i hate the modern internet: concentric circles of circlejerking walled gardens. so i've been haphazardly learning HTML through googling stupid things like how to italicize things html 5 -ai to make this website. you can find links to me on other platforms down at the bottom in button-land. i'm a transgender autistic christian socialist college student, which sounds deliberately crafted to be confusing, but that's just the way i am! :3 i'm a fan of preserving the sanctity of art: listening to music and reading books as their own activities in their own spaces rather than things to happen in the background.

i'm currently working on my debut album, lifelong medical patient, about trying to learn who you are in an increasingly disconnected world: feeling disconnected from yourself, from your communities, and from agency. it'll hopefully be coming out in 2026! i'm also starting the early stages of work on my debut novel, which serves as a giant metaphor for being trans that i think anybody would be able to relate to, even if they're not trans.
